Ah. This is a Hoagie, apparently.

And this is the history of Hoagies.

and this is the definition of hoagies. They rule.

Or if you drop one letter you have Hogie, who was the home-built robot in the later Sam Slade Robo-Hunter comics... Which has almost nothing to do with anything which is why it is fun to put in!

BTW, why would the consuming of the darkest of all chocolates be a guilty secret? I love my chocolate and let everyone know it (those 80% coco dark ones are fabulous... drools at mere thought...)

I'm going to have to see if I can somehow send you a hoagie. Perhaps it'll give me an excuse to come across the pond and somehow sneak over a hoagie. It's actually easy to make, all you need is an Italian role or bagget (sp?), Cappicola Ham, Proscuitto, salami, provolone, lettuce, onion, and tomato, and vinnegar and olive oil, and oregano. There are variations. Of course you'll need a giant pickle, a bag of chips, and a beverage of choice. Either beer or soda.

Hmm, only problem is, I can't eat cheese. Otherwise sounds great.

Re the chocolate: I'm not supposed to eat chocolate because of the anti-candida diet that I'm doing. Mmmm, where can you get 80% cocoa solids chocolate?

Out Of Jersey said...

No problem, we can get it without cheese.

And what's anti-candida?

Joe said...

Anti-Candida???? Is this some sort of Armageddon/Revelations tale for dieters? Candida and anti-candida will battle for the souls of dieters at the end of days... And I saw four riders, the fourth was on a skinny, pale horse, and Atkins was his name...

Yewtree said...

No dear, the Atkins diet was low in carbohydrates, high in protein.

The candida diet is to prevent and reduce the overgrowth of yeast in the gut.
