I am right-brained

... apparently. If you see the dancer in this graphic going clockwise, it means you are right-brained, and if it's anti-clockwise, it means you are left-brained. I could only see it as clockwise, I couldn't make it go the other way. Assuming this is based on genuine psychology and isn't just balderdash, that's really interesting and useful.

I tried that but I can still only see her going clockwise.

One of my colleagues could make her go either way at will, so he is obviously ambi-brained!

Woah--that is strange. At first, I could only see her going clockwise. Then when my eyes flitted over to read the explanation in the left-hand margin and flitted back, suddenly she was going counter-clockwise! Now, as Kay said, I can get her to go either way by focusing on her feet, though if I concentrate too hard, it looks more like she's doing some bizarre waffling back-and-forth jig. Eerie...

Nope, my brain refuses to see her going anything other than clockwise!

Like Yvonne, I've only been able to see the dancer going clockwise.

Kind of scary, considering I'm in a career field that's highly math and logic intensive. ;)

I am left-handed, so it may be that my right brain actually carries out the functions that my left brain is supposed to do.

Are you left- or right-handed, Jarred?

Started off clockwise for me, couldn't make her go any other way. Then for me too, when I flicked to the left to read the comments, I noticed she was spinning anti-clockwise in my peripheral vision. Now I can see her spinning either way, and like Ali, even doing a left-right-left-right sweep. Hmm...

That's cool!

When the image first loaded, she appeared to be moving anti-clockwise. I Briefly looked away and she started moving clockwise. I was unable to change the direction until I moved my finger over the image in a circular motion and was able to change directions pretty easily. I'm left handed.
